POV: you are shopping for a new mom and want to get them things they actually need.

Hint hint, flowers for their kitchen table are great but they don’t need 20 people sending them flowers! So, here are some gifts of things they will actually use!

For ALL New Mamas:

Nespresso Machine – bring the coffee shop to her so she doesn’t have to leave the house.

Ember Mug – her coffee will never be warm in a traditional mug again, this is a GAME CHANGER.

Dry Shampoo – showers won’t happen daily anymore, I love this brand.

Natural Deo – post partum stench is real, this is a brand and scent I love that ACTUALLY works, however, you will still need to apply multiple times a day, that’s just the reality of post partum life y’all.

Weighted Eye Mask – I recommend this for all humans, but especially moms who keep opening their eyes to check the baby monitor or basinet to ensure their kiddo is still breathing.

Bath Salts – they might not actually help her sleep but atleast they smell nice and her kiddos can use them too!

LMNT for hydration + BIG water bottle that will keep her ice frozen for DAYS – better than the one you get at the hospital, and cuter!

Nipple Cream – the best natural one I have found!

OSEA Vagus Nerve Gift Set – love love love alll OSEA products but these are great post partum “me time” items.

Awakening Soap – love this for a morning face wash and refresh!

Giftcards – Kindle or Audible (for book readers to enjoy when up late at night nursing), local spot for a massage, local spot for a facial, local spot for acupuncture. Basically any gift card that will allow her to leave the house and partake in some self care are amazing gifts!

For the C-section Mamas:

Soft High Waisted Undies – these will be great for once she gets out of diapers as they feel nice on the scar.

Belly Band – mama’s you can actually request one of these at the hospital but if you don’t get one order one, it was a game changer for me.

I loved having a pillow like this one – I slept sitting up for a while post partum due to my scar.

For Baby:

For Bigger Siblings:

Kids Camera – great for taking pictures of their new sibling!

For All Family:

I didn’t Sign Up For This – I WISH I had this book after my first kiddo. A great read for both parents!

Meals – I love GoldBelly for meals from all over the U.S., Rafetto’s Pasta and THE PINK SAUCE, YUM. I also love a subscription to Hello Fresh, makes meals easy and grocery shopping lighter.

Giftcards – Instacart, Costco, Target, Amazon, & DoorDash are also chefs kiss.

Money for childcare is always a great gift!

IF you are going to get her flowers I am begging you to get them from Sharis Berries, chocolate covered strawberries make for a great post partum snack.
